Introduction to Sharm El Sheikh - Sharks Bay
Sharks Bay is a growing resort in the Sharm el-Sheikh region of Egypt. This resort was formerly a quaint fishing village, but is now regarded as one of the region's most popular diving destinations. It's one of the few beaches where snorkellers can 'walk-in' the sea, directly to the coral reef. Here, swimmers can enjoy beautiful marine life around the coral. There is also a great beach for new divers to get some practice at. The resort is around 10 minutes' drive from Na'ama Bay, where international restaurants, bars and nightclubs stand side-by-side. However, Sharks Bay isn't far behind in terms of late-night entertainment. Some venues have belly-dancing shows, while others offer open-air parties on occasion. Many Sharks Bay hotels offer great views of Tiran Island, out in the bay itself.
