Giza Metro Station is about 10 minutes walk away and a 10 - 15 minute taxi ride will transport guests to the famous pyramids and sphinx. The elderly, tired decor Europa Hotel Cairo provides limited facilities and services and has good access to the River Nile and the historic pyramids.

The medium sized rooms are pleasantly decorated and simply furnished in a variety of tasteful colour schemes. Most rooms on the lower floors at the front of the building have a private balcony. The fully tiled bathrooms are kept in good condition, as are the bedrooms.

The restaurant serves a good choice of traditional Egyptian cuisine and a good standard international buffet.

The large lobby is adjacent to the bar and restaurant, giving it a larger appearance. The reception area is pleasantly furnished.
