Aalborg Travel Guide - Getting There

By air: Aalborg airport is located four miles to the north of the city and offers scheduled connections from London, Oslo, Helsinki and Malaga. Most other international flights arrive at Copenhagen, which is a short connecting flight away. There are frequent daily connections to and from Copenhagen.

By car: if you want to hire a car, start from Ebeltoft and take Route 21 north to Route 16. Continue along Route 16 until you reach E45, which then connects north to Aalborg.

By bus: long distance buses link Aalborg with Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Odense and other major cities in Denmark as well as Europe. There is an extensive network of local busses operated by Nordjyllands Trafikselskab.
