Famous for being the second oldest hotel in Denmark. This hotel offers the indiviual traveller a memorable stay in a beautiful hotel, close to Aarhus International airport.
The rooms are of different size. 40% are large and 60% are medium sized; but they are all in very good condition. They are slightly more modern than the rest of the hotel in design, but retain traditional furnishings where possible. Several of the bathrooms are wonderfully old-fashioned some even having marble floors with inlaid mother of pearl. Classical art deco style features in some rooms.
There are four dining rooms all elegantly furnished, decorated in warm yellows with antiques and good quality furnishings througout. The a la carte menu is excellent. There is also much history in the ornate murals and pictures that adorn the walls.
Lobby:
The lobby is small - an intimate area with a small reception desk. There is an adjoining seating lounge filled with antique paintings, books and ornaments, a recurring theme throughout the hotel.
Exterior:
An ornate traditional facade with marble pillars and dark stone arched-windows.
