Plaza Copenhagen Hotel - Copenhagen

The hotel is a nice comfortable good quality hotel, the library and restaurant make it a much sought after hotel when staying in Copenhagen. Parts of the property could do with being renovated, but generally this is a delightful property.

The rooms in the hotel differ a lot in shape and layout which is common in older, traditional properties. They are of all of a large size and comfortable. Furnishings differ greatly from room to room but they are all furnished to a good standard.

The restaurant is on the first floor and offers another chance to savour your meal amongst antique furnishings.

The actual lobby area is small in size. It is decorated in strong red & maroon colours contrasting with dark mahogany wood. Adjoining the lobby is the famous library bar, apparently among the most unique in Europe. In this area you can enjoy light refreshments in sumptuous leather chairs surrounded by a library of antique books.

The building is a traditional art nouveau style property dating from the turn of the century.
