Introduction to Kolding - Bramdrupdam
Within easy reach of the city centre, Kolding's Bramdrupdam is a northern suburb just inside the main ring road and featuring a number of parks and good shopping. Kolding Golf Club, a superb 18-hole course with water features and solid fairways, is located here. Kolding Storcenter, the largest shopping centre in the city, is also here and features dozens of fashion stores and restaurants that open seven days a week. Getting to the centre of Kolding from Bramdrupdam takes about 20 minutes by bus or taxi along the main Vejlevej road that passes the shopping centre. The area is close to the beginning of the beautiful Kolding Fjord, which is situated just out of the centre and is an excellent area for hiking. Bramdrupdam hotels are mostly positioned either side of the Sonderjyske motorway. Many have car parks which make the area a perfect base for exploring picturesque southern Denmark as well as Kolding itself.
