Guldsmeden Carlton Hotel - Copenhagen

This is one of the most charming hotels in Copenhagen with friendly service, delightful rooms and great location. Unique in design it makes a pleasant change as a base from which to explore the city. Please note that reception is open 7am-12am, when arriving outside these times please call hotel during opening hours to get a door code.

Rooms are some of the most charming in Copenhagen. They are of a good size with painted walls, wooden floors and large windows. The furniture has been imported from Indonesia and the beds are extremely comfortable, many being four poster. Each room has a television, a minibar, wireless internet access for which there is no charge and a few rooms have a balcony.

The restaurant is used to serve a hearty Danish breakfast and is located next to the hotel reception area. It is a large room broken into enclaves creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The restaurant does not serve dinner though the hotel staff can make reccomendations for places to eat nearby.

The entrance to the hotel is on the ground floor, though the reception and lobby area is on the first floor. The reception is small but makes up a part of the restaurant area. Reception is open from 7am to Midnight only.
