Overview
The traditional Copenhagen Plaza Hotel is a converted 1913 building. It is placed in the central district of the city, facing picturesque Tivoli Gardens. It is a few minutes walk from the Central Station, which provides convenient transport connections to the city and also other regions of Denmark. For those that enjoy shopping, the bustling Stroeget Pedestrian Shopping Street is a short walk from the hotel. The Copenhagen Plaza Hotel features free wireless internet access throughout the hotel, and has well equipped, spacious guestrooms, which have slightly faded, but pleasant, pastel colour decor.
The rooms in the hotel differ a lot in shape and layout which is common in older, traditional properties. They are of all of a large size and comfortable. Furnishings differ greatly from room to room but they are all furnished to a good standard.
Restaurant:
The restaurant is on the first floor and offers another chance to savour your meal amongst antique furnishings.
Lobby:
The actual lobby area is small in size. It is decorated in strong red & maroon colours contrasting with dark mahogany wood. Adjoining the lobby is the famous library bar, apparently among the most unique in Europe.
