Introduction to Copenhagen - Brondby
Meaning 'Well Town' in Danish, Copenhagen's Brondby is actually an amalgamation of three western suburbs of the capital. It feels like a middle class suburb in the most part. Music-wise,Brondby is very much on the map, with the likes of hip hop band Outlandish having originated here. Brondby is also home to the biggest football club in Denmark and a good place to watch professional league games at Brondby Stadium. The Copenhagen Golf Centre is based here and an ideal place to stroll along the sea at the strand area to the south. Getting into the centre of the capital from here is straightforward. There are trains from Glostrup Station, about one mile away, and taxis ply the main roads. Brondby hotels are mostly clustered around the football stadium.
