Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden - Copenhagen

The friendly Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden, Copenhagen is a 5 storey building, conveniently located approximately about 10 minutes walking distance to the Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, retails and commercial districts. The practical, French colonial style rooms at the Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden are clean, average in size and have hand-picked furniture, four-poster beds and original wall painting. The limited facilities available at the hotel include a restaurant, a lobby area that has free wireless internet access and chargeable private, limited space car parking .

Rooms are some of the most charming in Copenhagen. They are of a good size with painted walls, wooden floors and large windows. The furniture has been imported from Indonesia and the beds are extremely comfortable, many being four poster. Each room has a television, a minibar, wireless internet access for which there is no charge and a few rooms have a balcony.

The restaurant is used to serve a hearty Danish breakfast and is located next to the hotel reception area. It is a large room broken into enclaves creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The restaurant does not serve dinner though the hotel staff can make reccomendations for places to eat nearby.

The entrance to the hotel is on the ground floor, though the reception and lobby area is on the first floor. The reception is small but makes up a part of the restaurant area. Reception is open from 7am to Midnight only.
