Australians, Canadians and South Africans are eligible for a 90-day tourist visa, but the visa must be obtained from an embassy located outside the Czech Republic. Within three days of arriving in the Czech Republic, foreigners are required to register at a local police station. Most hotels will take care of this requirement on behalf of their guests, but it is best to confirm this when checking in.
