The impressive selection includes: themed bars, gay bars and live music venues. The more modern pubs have become very popular and have allowed older Czech men to carry on enjoying their own pubs while the rowdier youth enjoy scenes more in tune with their needs.
You will find some excellent jazz clubs dotted around the city, with many of them being packed out every night. Jazz was seen as a subtle rebellion during the communist era and has grown in popularity since then.
