The two north terminals provide the best facilities, as they handle the majority of flights, while the two southern terminals handle specialty flights, and small private aircraft. Their facilities are somewhat limited, but include restaurants, information desks and money-changing facilities. The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers, with wheelchair access throughout and specially adapted telephones and toilets. Airport information: +420 220 113 314
Transportation: the airport is served by trams, buses and taxis, and there are no train or metro services linking the airport with the city. Three local buses travel to and from the airport and Prague. There are airport shuttle buses which depart for the city centre every 30 minutes. Your only other alternative is to take a taxi. This is not advised however as they can work out to be very expensive and a lot of hassle. Parking: is plentiful at Ruzyne Airport. There is a multi-storey car park situated outside the north terminal buildings and short-term and long-term parking outside the southern terminals. There are 3,000 parking bays in total, of which about two-thirds are long-term spaces. Free parking is available for disabled passengers, but drivers must be in possession of a valid disabled persons’ badge. | |
