The chateau hotel Stekl is situated in the neighbourhood of the chateau of Hluboka nad Vltavou. Originally, the Stekl chateau served as a quarters for servants of the Hluboka Chateau, later it has been rebuilt in a beautiful hotel complex corresponding with the chateaus exterior as well as with the amenities. It provides accommodation in 45 luxurious rooms with stylish chateau furniture. The hotel also features a restaurant, a bar, a wine bar and historical salons which can be used as meeting rooms. The hotel also offers leisure and sport facilities.

The luxuriously appointed rooms are all different in size and layout but have the same traditional style. The floors are of Polished wood with rugs, sumptuous beds and furniture adorn and some of the corner rooms are reminiscent of a fairy's castle. The bathrooms are modern, clean and very -very well maintained.

The restaurant is located on ground level to the right of the reception hall. It is a large, high ceilinged room with light paint work and dark woodwork.

The medium sized lobby is very well lit. The small reception area is located just in front of the entrance door. The remainder of the area is well lit by daylight. The seating area is very pleasant.

The hotel has an historic castle like appearance of white crenellated fortifications. The main buildings are attractively historic.
