Introduction to Prague - Nusle
The district of Prague Nusle stands close to the city centre, in the southeast of the city. Although nearby to many of Prague's attractions, this district is just outside the main tourist area. Some fine modern buildings are found in this part of the city, such as Nusle Town Hall, but many visitors prefer the old buildings in the centre. There is an old brewery in the district, with a bedraggled yet charming appearance. In recent years, this building has taken on the function of being a storage warehouse for Czech wine. There parks surround the district: Folimanka, Havlickocy sady and Tyrsuv vrch, offering shady spots in which to enjoy a picnic. There are many Nusle hotels for tourists to consider. They offer proximity to the centre at cheaper prices than more centrally located lodgings. The Prague metro Line Cruns to this part of the city, with station entrances at either end of the Nusle Bridge.Visit our Prague Travel Guide
