Overall this is a pleasant hotel enjoying a good standard of service.

The rooms are nice and in good condition after a recent refurbishment. Some are equipped with bath tubs and others with showers. Room size also varies from larger than average rooms to quite small rooms suitable for only 1 person.

On same level as lobby. Groups may eat in the adjoining sister hotel The Grand Pupp, as can the individual traveller wishing for a finer dining experience.

The lobby is large and in need of renovation. The lobby adjoins the bar and dining room. The lobby features an ornate ceiling, chandeliers and traditional decor.
