Grand Hotel Zvon - Ceske Budejovice

This hotel is excellent for individuals and small groups and has a great restaurant very popular with the locals.

Some rooms are basic and comprises spartan twins with shower and adequate room facilities in fair condition. These rooms are not accessible by lift. The next type is twins/large triples with bath, in good condition. Finally we have superior; which are far more appealing rooms in pseudo Laura Ashley style and 4 poster beds in very good condition.

The hotel has 2 bars serving Czech beer, and a group restaurant on the ground floor. The 1st floor has a gourmet restaurant and an a la carte restaurant.

The lobby is extremely small and there is only room for only 6-7 at the very most with luggage. There are lifts available.

The building is late baroque with a colourful, quaint appearance and a discreet entrance. The facade is very appealing with ground floor access and windows under galleries running the length of the building.
