Gomel Hotel - Ceske Budejovice

A decent hotel since its renovation, ideal for budget groups and individuals looking for basic clean accommodation.

The rooms are medium in size and are in good condition. All of the hotel has been renovated using pastel soft furnishings and light furniture, all the superior rooms have stunning views over the Budejovice area. The rooms are decorated in a variety of colours and styles.

There are 2 restaurants on the 1st floor. One is for groups and is basic and large. The other is small and more intimate.

The lobby is large and dark with mysterious glass sculptures hanging from the ceiling. The reception is long and there is seating with a bar just off the lobby. There are exhibitions in the lobby and the floor is dark marble.

The building is quite characterless, evocative of 1970' pseudo- modernist tradition. Greys, browns and oranges are quite prevalent. There is a lot of brown glass.
