Summers last from May through October and see temperatures of up to 40°C. The days are long and sunny with little rain. Winter falls between December and February and see very mild temperatures, averaging at around 15°C. The little rain the island sees usually falls in winter.
Spring and autumn are short seasons with warm days and cool nights, although temperatures can change suddenly, especially in autumn. It is advisable to bring a jumper or two just in case as night-time temperatures can drop.
