Festivals and Events in Paphos
March Festivals

Paphos Carnival: this fun-filled festival is held every March and sees traditional events take place alongside more modern ones. Music, dancing and feasting can all be enjoyed.
Akamas Festival: this festival sees Paphos opening its doors to a number of classical music performers and concerts are held in a variety of destinations for one week in March.
Summer Nights in Polis: this event lasts for a month throughout July and August. It features Greek dance, music and theatre performances as well as modern pop and rock concerts. Popular venues include Municipality Square and Town Hall Yard.
August/September Festivals

Paradise Jazz Festival: is one of the most popular music events on the Paphos calendar. It attracts many international jazz musicians as well as scores of keen crowds who come to hear the performers. It is held in August and September every year.
Ierokipeia Festival: this September event is yet another festival which focuses on traditional music and dance. Local performers put on shows for two weeks at Agia Paraskevi Square in Geroskipou Village.
