Limassol District Archaeological Museum: displays many interesting antiquities from the Limassol area dating back to the Neolithic Age. Wander around the museum to view ancient weapons such as stone axes, knives and arrow heads.
Folk Art Museum: unveils the interesting history and lifestyle of locals in days gone by. Features include traditional costumes, farm and household tools and other handicrafts.
Limassol Sculpture Park: is home to sculptures created by famous artists such as: Victor Bonato, George Tsaras and the Limassolian artist, Helene Black.
Kourion: is one of the richest sites on the island, featuring many stunning buildings. You will find the 2nd century Graeco-Roman theatre, now used for theatrical and musical shows; the House of Eustolios with beautiful mosaic floors; and the early Christian basilica, built in the 5th century.
Amathus: is one of the main archaeological highlights and also one of the most scenic, with a prime location on a clifftop overlooking the sea. It features a great number of historical remains such as parts of the Acropolis and Agora and a temple dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite.
