By air: Larnaca International Airport, about 5kms southwest of the city, operates flights from London as well as other, European and Mediterranean destinations.
The airport is the largest in Cyprus, and a main hub for a number of airlines including British Airways, Cyprus Airways and KLM. Facilities are quite extensive and include ATMs, bureaux de change, banks, restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops and a post office.
By bus: local buses offer daily connections between Larnaca and major cities in Cyprus, leaving from the bus terminal at the town’s main promenade
By car: the only way to get your car to Cyprus is by ferry. No matter which port you arrive at, Larnaca is easily accessed by the island’s central motorway.
Those coming from Turkey will arrive in northern Cyprus. From there, you can take a bus to Larnaca. Passenger ships also operate to from Greek, Italian, Egyptian and Middle Eastern ports.
