Municipal Museum of Marine Life: the Tornaritis-Pierides Museum of Marine life was founded in 1992 and is located in the Agia Napa town hall. This museum is the first of its kind in Cyprus and features exhibits on the marine fauna of Cyprus and the Mediterranean region, stressing the importance of preserving marine ecosystems.
A highlight of the museum is a reconstruction of the sea bed from the age of the dinosaurs, complete with fossils of corals, shells and sponges of 130 million years ago.
Leoforos Kryou Nerou, 14. Open: 08:30 to 16:00 daily; closed on public holidays.
The Farm House: is located in Monastery Square, and has been authentically reconstructed to represent the rural traditions of Agia Napa's past. This provides interesting insights into the simple life of the peasant farmer and his relationship with the land.
Farmhouses on the plains were typically single-storey structures built of mud-bricks, with the distinguishing features being arches and a large veranda at the front. This reconstruction is furnished and decorated as the farmer's wife's would have done, with a loom in one corner, carved cupboards holding ornamental plates, and a high bed with embroidered coverings.
Agia Napa, Monastery Square. Open: 08:30 to 16:00 daily; closed on public holidays.
The condition of the tombs has suffered some from previous illegal digging that occurred at the site and also due to ancient quarrying that was carried on in the area immediately adjacent. Nineteen tombs have been excavated thus far, along with a small sanctuary situated to the east of the burial grounds.
Makronissos. Open: typically from 08:30 to 16:00 daily; closed on public holidays.
