The Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort & Spa is situated on a beautiful beachfront property. Guests who are arriving from Varadero International Airport can reach the resort in just 30 minutes. The Varadero town centre, where there are interesting shops, markets, entertainment venues, and restaurants, can easily be accessed by car. All suites feature balconies or patios with either garden or sea views. The restaurants on site serve a wide variety of cuisine. Guests who want to stay in can enjoy facilities such as whirlpools, swimming pools, a games room and tennis courts.

Appropriate clothing and shoes are required for guests wishing to dine in the hotel restaurants. Beachwear and t-shirts are not permitted in the restaurants. Shorts are permitted in the main restaurant and the beach restaurant, whilst the other restaurants require guests to sport long trousers and a shirt with a collar.
