Introduction to Havana - Miramar
A residential district of the city of Havana, Miramar is home to a large number of embassies, including the Russian Embassy, which can be found on Quinta Avenida. This is a good area to use as a base, and visitors will find a selection of Miramar hotels to choose from, many of which are located conveniently close to the embassies. Miramar also features a number of interesting attractions, and culture vultures will want to check out the Teatro Miramar, which is a 600-seat theatre that was built in the 1950s. Also of note is the Jesus de Miramar church, which bears an interesting domed tower. Visitors can climb to the top of this tower to gaze at stunning panoramic views of the city before exploring the rest of this charming church.
