Introduction to Zadar-North Dalmatia, Croatia
The Croatian city of Zadar-North Dalmatia overlooks the Adriatic Sea, and is part of the Dalmatian region. Tourists flock here for pebbly beaches and also, the superb Roman ruins that show off Zadar's ancient history and rich heritage. Most hotels are located in buildings that date back to Julius Caesar's time and these strucutres, deep inside the city walls, are beautifully atmospheric. They are surprisingly cheap too, as the bulk of them are family run hotels with spartan but comfortable furnishings. Some hotels in Zadar-North Dalmatia are within walking distance of St Donatus' Church a magnificent structure in the shape of a silo and made out of millions of concrete bricks. Other accommodations are within easy reach of the other landmarks in the city which include St Anastasia's Cathedral, St Elijah's church and Five Wells Square. Anyone in Zadar will be able to help a visitor find these landmarks, but self-guided walking tours are much more fun.other spellings: zadarnorth dalmatiahotels, sadar-north dalmatia otel, zadarnorth dalmatia hotell
