Dubrovnik - tour the 14th century Fortress St Ivan
St John’s Fortress, or Fortress St Ivan as it is locally known was the original defence for the city back in the 14th century and has been expanded over the centuries as the city grew. Dubrovnik - wander and shop at the historic Stadun
There is so much to see along the Stadun in Dubrovnik that you are sure to miss something on your first walk along the street. As well as the numerous shops and restaurants there are a number of historical sites that need to be seen. These include the city Bell Tower built in 1444 and the bell with its striking men was added in 1509. Refresh yourself at one of the many fountains along the Stadun during the hot summer months.
