Introduction to Dubrovnik - Babin Kuk
The city of Dubrovnik, which sits on Croatia's Adriatic coast, is one of the world's great unsung tourism heroes. One of the most popular areas of Dubrovnik is the Babin Kuk area. Located on the peninsula to the west of central Dubrovnik, Babin Kuk hotels ensure visitors enjoy luxury accommodation with excellent access to top tourist destinations. The area is among the greenest in the city and is relatively quiet and relaxing. The prettiest local beaches are easy to reach from this part of the city and a short bus ride carries visitors to the city's historic Old Town. The city's longest beach, Copacabana, runs along the south of the area but the name could be a bit misleading. Though well worth visiting, the beach is made of pebbles rather than sand. Using local bus 7, the city's main bus station can easily be reached and the ferry port at Obala Ivana Pavla II is only about three kilometres away.Visit our Dubrovnik Travel Guide
