Spring and autumn are short compared to summer and winter. Autumn is often grey and misty, although September can occasionally be bright while winter months, November to January, see temperatures dropping below freezing.
Spring is much warmer and the months of April and May are the best times to visit as the peach blossom trees are in bloom. Summer can be extremely hot with temperatures soaring to as high as 40°C in July and August.
