Macau (Macao) Travel Guide - Getting There

By Air: Macau International Airport is located on Taipa Island. You can reach the city from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur Singapore Manila and Jakarta. From the airport, you will find an airport shuttle bus operating services to and from Barrier Gate in the city centre. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Taxis are aplenty outside the terminal and are available to take you to your destination as well as tours around the city. Fares should be agrees in advance.

By Ferry: you can reach Macau by ferry from Hong Kong. There are two ferry terminals in Hong Kong providing ferry services to Macau: Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal in Shun Tak Centre and the China Ferry Terminal on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. The journey on an express ferry takes about 70 minutes.
