Shopping: Macau is regarded as a haven for shopaholics. The busiest and most extensive shopping are can be found on Macau Peninsula, where you can find a host of shopping malls, boutiques and souvenir shops.
Eating: Macau boasts a variety of food from every continent across the world. Some of the most prominent and popular dishes come from Portugal as the city still retains much of its Portuguese past. Bacalhau, dried cod fish imported from Portugal, is on of the most popular Portuguese dishes among local people, although you will also find African Chicken, Galinha Portuguesa, Linguado Macau, Paella and numerous stir-fries. There is a karting circuit at the southern end of the causeway linking Taipa with Coloane. The circuit features professional facilities including equipment, live broadcasting screens and show halls.
Theatre: as Macau combines both oriental and western arts and culture, you will find a number of plays and musical performances that boast a perfect mixture of both worlds. Recommended theatres include: D. Pedro V Theatre; AV. Almeida Ribeiro and the theatre in Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre.
