The area of Wan Chai was the setting for the novel ‘The World of Suzie Wong’ but the area has been transformed from the days of brothels and dingy bars to an upmarket trendy area where an exciting and vibrant nightlife can be enjoyed. Flashy pubs and bars with live bands and entertainment are the main pull of the area.
The islands of Lantau and Lamma have a much quieter nightlife scene. Macau on the other hand offers plenty of entertainment almost 24 hours a day at its casinos. Here there are discos, bars, karaoke and all sorts of other night entertainment to enjoy.
