Introduction to Yangzhou, China
Yangzhou is a popular tourist destination with tourists that come each year and fill up the best Yangzhou hotels. In order to reach these hotels in Yangzhou however, tourists usually fly to the airport and then travel 40 miles to the city centre, which has both train and bus stations. Once they have checked into their accommodation however, and are ready to see the sights, they can explore one of China's oldest cities that has been around for almost 2,500 years. Because of this, the city is understandably full of historical landmarks and buildings, the majority of which are just walking distance from most Yangzhou hotels. While in the area, itineraries usually include Daming Temple and the Hanlinyuan Museum.
