Introduction to Xian - Beilin
Xian is an ancient city in central China. The city is believed to be at least 3,000 years old and is home to one of China’s most popular tourist attractions, the Terracotta Warriors. Tourists flock to the city during the summer months (May to August), as well as during Chinese national holidays. It might be worth booking Xian hotels in advance during these times. The city’s Beilin district is becoming an increasingly popular place to stay and is conveniently close to the Stele Forest museum and the Little Goose Pagoda. In addition, the Drum Tower, the Bell Tower and the Ancient City Wall are all within easy reach of Beilin, in nearby Lianhu district. Xian train station is located in the northeast corner of the old city, just 15 minutes from Beilin by taxi.
