Introduction to Wuyishan - City Centre
Green valleys and scenic streams separate the city of Wuyishan in southeast China from the Wuyi mountain range, which can be seen from Wuyishan City Centre hotels. The Wuyi mountain range is the top ranked scenic spot and most visited tourist destination in Fujian Province, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. The city of Wuyishan has been settled for over 4,000 years, and is surrounded by five villages, five larger townships and half a dozen tea farms. Even its official camphor tree is over 1,000 years old, and the more than 100m-high Jade Girl Peak, said to resemble a beautiful girl, is not only the official tourist logo of the city, but of the entire Fujian Province. A 14m-high red granite sculpture, known as the Wuyi Soul Group, stands between the city limits and the National Park. The park zone also contains the villa that Confucian revivalist scholar Zhu Xi used as his retreat, and the grounds where the famous Dahongpao tea was originally cultivated.other spellings: wuyishan city center hotels, otel wuyisan city, wuyishan town hotell, vuyishan center
