Introduction to Wuxi - Binhu
The stunning central-eastern Chinese city of Wuxi is a magnificent tourist destination that shouldn't be overlooked. The central district, sitting on the banks of the Yangtze River, is known as Binhu. This is where most travellers start their Wuxi City tour. As a result, many comfortable and affordable Binhu hotels are found in the area. Exploring the district can be done in a matter of a day or two, but there are plenty of things to see to warrant a longer stay. The lakeside area of the district is home to a large park known as Lihu Bridge Park, which connects with Lihu Park, across the water. There are several gardens scattered around the district including Shanshui Hubin Garden and Dongquan Flower Garden. These small parks are extremely picturesque and calming.
