Tangkou Down Hill Hotel - Huangshan

Centrally situated in a small mountainside town, the Tangkou Down Hill Hotel, Huangshan, is a traditionally designed building where many rooms have breathtaking views of the famous Huangshan Mountain. A shuttle bus regularly departs for the Yuping Cable Car, an hour from the town centre. The cable car ascends the mountain to the Celestial Capital Peak, a journey best undertaken at sunrise. Otherwise, many of the guests stay here on hiking tours, intent on completing the 7 hour climb on foot. The lodging’s fashionable rooms have been individually decorated, each featuring movie channels, a laptop connection and a trouser press. There are restaurants in Tangkou, but many guests prefer the convenience of the modern Cantonese eatery on the premises.
