Suzhou, in Jiangsu Province, is situated on the western shores of Lake Tai, about 50kms from Shanghai. Suzhou features classic pagodas, ancient stone bridges and exquisitely designed gardens, which have helped to make the city one of China’s premier tourist destinations.
