Introduction to Suzhou - Changshu
The city of Suzhou is one of the cradles of Ancient China's Wu culture. Part of this city is the large town of Changshu, which is home to a variety of tourist attractions. Plenty of domestic tourists make their way to the city each year. Only recently has the city started to receive international tourists. Most Changshu hotels are located in and around the centre of town, so tourists don't need to travel far when sightseeing. The first site visitors should explore is the local museum. The Changshu Museum, found in the western part of town, is comprised of interesting historical displays. Tourists can take a half-day trip into Jiangsu Yushan Mountain National Forest Park, which is found just to the west of the museum. Two of the most fascinating attractions in the city, however, are the tombs of Zhongyong and Yanzi. It is best to visit these historical sites by tour group as there are is lots of information to take in.
