Introduction to Suzhou - Canglang
Suzhou is an ambient historic city on the lower reaches of eastern China’s Yangtze River Delta. Suzhou is built on a network of canals and boasts old stone bridges, streets untouched by time, serene gardens and splendid pagoda-like temples. The city is one of the most visited destinations in the region and has an abundance of Suzhou hotels offering services. The Canglang District is in the centre of the city’s historic quarter. The hotels in Canglang range from basic Chinese backpacker style establishments with dormitories to luxurious buildings with superb facilities. Staying at one of these central hotels means that tourists are within easy walking distance of tourism draws such as the renowned Humble Administrator’s Gardens, the 2,500-year-old Pan Gate, Xuanmiao Temple, Huqiu Temple and Tiger Hill. There are diverse shops and dining outlets in Canglang.
