Introduction to Shenzhen - Shekou
The city of Shenzhen is one of China’s most prosperous cities. It was the first of the Special Economic Zones, and has since grown into a true global city. The port area is often referred to as Shenzhen Shekou, and is home to a selection of hotels in Shenzhen. Many visitors that travel to Shenzhen fly into Hong Kong first, then venture by boat to Shenzhen Shekou. From here, there are numerous transportation options to get around the city, including buses, trains, and taxis. There are quite a number of attractions in the district. The district has long been the base of expat oil workers working in the South China Sea and features Western style draws such as international restaurants and Sea World, home to Charles de Gaulle’s private yacht. A subway link to Shenzhen is soon to open, which will make accessing the area even easier than before.other spellings: shekuo otel, shekuo hotell, she kou hote, she kou hotes, shegou hotles
