Introduction to Qiong Hai - Beach
The Chinese city of Qiong Hai, in Hainan, is a dynamic settlement, especially when it comes to tourism. One of the most important parts of the city is the beachfront area that stands close to the Wanquan River. This area is often referred to as the Jade Belt, as the colour of the river appears to have a jade tint hence the beach district of this city is sometimes called Jade Belt Beach. Travellers are advised to visit the city during the months of January and March, when Qiong Hai Beach hotels are at their busiest. Following the river to the Wanquan River Tourism Area is a great activity for tourists. Xisha Haiyang World is a marine amusement park that is the perfect spot for families and couples alike. Marine life from the region can be viewed in the park. Oerlooking the mouth of the Wanquan River is the interesting Taoist temple of Matsu, which can be visited free of charge.
