Boasting a strategic position just 40kms north of Beijing and 50kms east of Tianjin, Langfang is a Chinese centre of learning and industry. Langfang City Centre hotels are widely available to cater to the thousands of students and business people who visit this rapidly developing city annually. Situated in Hebei Province, this city of nearly four million people is surprisingly green, with dozens of parks in which to unwind. The centre, nicknamed China's Silicon Valley thanks to its budding IT industry, hosts the country's longest pedestrian street, New Century Walk.
