Introduction to Kaifeng, China
Kaifeng is a prefectural city in Henan, China. It is around 45 miles east of Zhengzhou city and is in the east of the country. The city is known for its wide range of foods, including many traditional favourites such as dumplings and chicken feet. It also has a very popular night market that attracts both locals and tourists for its great shopping scene. A large number of people visit Kaifeng every year for the rich culture and evident history. Nearly all of the Kaifeng hotels are located to the north and east of the Yellow River, with the largest concentration close to the city’s Longting Park. This popular park provides the perfect spot for walks, and is nearby one of the city’s centres of activity, where visitors will find a lively scene of restaurants, bars, street food and small shops.
