Introduction to Harbin - Xiangfang
Xiangfang Park is a great place to visit in Xiangfang district, Harbin town, China. Its main gate is 30 metres high and 16 metres long. Another star attraction in Xiangfang is Heilongjiang Forest Botanical Garden, which displays and promotes the plants that grow naturally in northeastern China. More than 12,000 species are found here in such areas as the Medicinal Plants Garden, the Tulip Garden and the Living Specimens Garden. The Botanical Garden contains a few architectural highlights including the Pavilion and Nine Dragons Wall, which was constructed to match the beauty of the area's greenery. And Shangzhi Park, originally Xiangfang Park, on Gongbin Road, puts on the lavish Colour Lantern Party, held during the annual Lantern Festival in February. A show dedicated to chrysanthemums is held here annually as well. Two other sites to be seen are the Great Northern Wilderness Museum and the Hallelujah Church, the biggest of its kind in Northeast China.
