Introduction to Haixi, China
In the western-central area of China, in the province of Qinghai, is the prefecture of Haixi. It is quite isolated from other areas, being located in the Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and is close to Yaluke Lake and Tuosu Lake. The main town of this small prefecture is Delingha, which is sometimes referred to as the shortened name of Deli. The prefecture capital is a relatively unknown area not often visited by tourists, though there are some beautiful hotels in Haixi here. Attractions in the city include beautiful public parks, Jianshe flower garden, a cinema and the river that runs through the west of the prefecture, the Ba'yin. Visitors can access the city via the Delingha Railway. Geladandong Mountain, the tallest in the Tanggula range at 6,621m, can be climbed by experienced climbers who may catch sight of local wildlife such as white-lipped deer and snow leopards on the climb.other spellings: hiaxihotels, hiaxi otel, hiaxi hotell, hiaxi hote, hotle in hiaxi
