Introduction to Fuzhou - Cangshan
The district of Cangshan is a fascinating part of the greater city of Fuzhou, which is located in Fujian Province of southeastern China. The centre of the district is the Culture and Sports Centre Stadium, but there are plenty of other sites of interest in and around the district. Several Cangshan hotels are available for tourists. Just to the north of the district is the amazing Nanjiang Riverside Park, which welcomes thousands of visitors each day. This park is a great place for a stroll or to simply sit in the shade and watch the Min River flow by. Just across the river is Xichan Temple, which is a beautiful Taoist religious site of historical importance. To the west of the temple is the Wu Shan Scenic Site (Wu Mountain). Tourists can climb the mountain for spectacular views of the region. At the foot of the mountain is Wuyi Square. Visitors should come at sunrise or sunset to see the raising of the flag ceremony held on the square each day.
