Introduction to Dongguan - Dongguan City
Dongguan City is located in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. Situated just off the coast, the city attracts many international and local visitors, primarily due to its mix of modern and historical areas. Hotels in Dongguan provide easy access to the main attraction in this city, the South China Mall. As the the world’s largest shopping centre, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything they don't sell here. Also in town is the Dongguan Exhibition Centre, where many business conferences and art shows are held throughout the year. The Jin'aozhou Pagoda is also a popular place to visit; while just east of here are the tranquil Keyuan Gardens and the bustling Dongcheng Avenue. In the latter you will find plenty of traditional Chinese handicrafts and street food stalls to wander among. Also not far from here is the main party area known as 'bar street'.
