Introduction to Daqing, China
Daqing, in China’s northeast, is in Heilongjiang province which borders Russia to the north and Mongolia to the west. It is around 70 miles northwest of the larger city, Harbin. The best hotels in Daqing are between the Sanshui Reservoir and Yuejintun area. These Daqing hotels are within easy walking distance, or a quick taxi ride to the many lakes and parks surrounding the hotel area, which also contains universities, shopping centres, markets and museums. There are also hotels in Daqing on the edges of the city, close to the highways and airport, which are mostly budget to mid range establishments for those on a budget or just passing through the city.
