Dalian with only 100 years of history is a relatively young city in China. It is known throughout China for its football and fashion. There are many hotels in Dalian to choose from for your vacation from small budget hotels to international hotel chains. Many of the Dalian hotels are located in the downtown area near to the Financial District or along Binhai Road. There are three main areas of the city to explore for visitors staying in one of the Dalian hotels; the downtown area, Xinghai Park and the area around Binhai Road. Binhai Road is a 25-mile long stretch of road with mountains on one side and cliffs and sea on the other. The most popular part of Binhai Road is the area between Fujianzhuang bathing place and Hutan Paradise. Xinghai Park in Dalian is the largest square in Asia and was built in 1997 to commemorate the return of Hong Kong to China from the British.
